About the Role
SCD is looking for dependable full stack contractors who can help build websites, portals, dashboards, APIs, and custom workflows for client projects.
What you will do
- Build responsive frontend experiences.
- Develop Django views, APIs, models, and admin/internal tools.
- Integrate Stripe, email, forms, file uploads, and third-party services.
- Fix bugs and improve existing client systems.
- Communicate progress clearly and document important decisions.
Good fit
- Comfortable with Python, Django, JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
- Understands Git and deployment basics.
- Can work from requirements and ask good questions when scope is unclear.
- Values clean, maintainable code.
Nice to have
- PostgreSQL, Linux, cloud hosting, Docker, test writing, Stripe, or accessibility experience.
